    • Road tested the truck. Could not duplicate the pulsation the customer felt. Removed wheels. Check brake lining. There is plenty of brake pad left and brake shoe left. Customer was advised and decided to replace the front brake pads and rotors. Also found that the brake fluid needs to be replaced. Clean and adjust rear brakes.
    • DISC ROTOR – Remove & Replace – Front, Both – [Includes: Repack Wheel Bearings (where applicable) and replace Pads (if necessary). DOES NOT include refinishing.]
    • Remove all brake fluid from reservoir, refill with new fluid, and continue to flush system, till all of the old fluid is removed.Manufacturers procedures supercedes this procedure.
    • WHEEL CYLINDER – Remove & Replace – Both

    • Found that the front and rear brake pads were under 4mm. Customer decided to go ahead and replace the brake pads and resurface the brake rotors now.
    • BRAKE SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs.] DRIVER'S FLOOR MAT – INSPECT – [Only use the driver's floor mat designed specifically for the model and model year of your vehicle. Always properly secure the driver's floor mat using the retaining hooks. Never install another floor mat on top of the existing driver's floor mat. Never install the driver's floor mat upside down.] FLUID LEVELS – INSPECT – [Inspect and adjust all fluid levels.] WIPER BLADES – INSPECT ENGINE OIL & FILTER – REPLACE – [Reset the oil replacement reminder light ("MAINT REQD") or the message "OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" on the multi-information display after maintenance at every 5,000 miles.] TIRES – ROTATE – [Check tire tread depth and for uneven or excessive wear.]
    • Perform visual inspection of the fuel system, check for DTCs, road test vehicle, be aware that carbon build up on this vehicles will cause misfires and may need more diagnostics and work. PERFORM GDI INJECTION SERVICE USING A 4 PART BG GDI KIT, clear DTCs that may set do to the service, and road test the vehicle.

    • Vehicle showed up on the tow truck. No check engine light on or flashing. Retrieved dtc and found a P0304 cylinder #4 misfire. Engine runs smooth. Road tested the car twice and ran good. Let the car run for 2.5 hrs and nothing could be duplicated. Customer will have to drive the car and see if the concern comes back.
